What Is the Flower of Life?

The Flower of Life is a geometric pattern formed by overlapping, evenly spaced circles arranged in a symmetrical design.

In contemporary sacred geometry practices, it is often interpreted as a symbol of unity, interconnectedness and the patterns found throughout creation.

Its repeating circles invite us to reflect on the relationships between ourselves, one another and the world around us.

Selenite or Satin Spar?

Although commonly sold as selenite, these hearts appear to be carved from satin spar, a silky, fibrous variety of gypsum.

Both selenite and satin spar are forms of the same mineral, but satin spar is especially known for its soft, pearlescent glow and beautiful natural striations.

In crystal traditions, selenite is commonly associated with clarity, energetic cleansing and spiritual connection.

Paired with the Flower of Life, this heart makes a lovely symbolic companion for meditation, intention setting or creating a sacred space.

Why I Picked This

Selenite and sacred geometry are two things I have a very special connection with. 

I've always been fascinated by the patterns and geometry found throughout nature and the universe. There's something beautiful about recognizing that the same shapes and relationships can appear in so many different forms.

And I love the soft, luminous quality of selenite. The way it catches the light and almost seems to glow from within makes it one of my favorite crystals to incorporate into sacred spaces.

What drew me to these hearts was the combination of the two. The Flower of Life engraving, the pearlescent glow and the heart shape feel like a beautiful reminder of connection, love and the sacredness of everyday life.

For me, it's a little piece of symbolism you can actually hold in your hands.
